Trying to keep this going.

Not as finished as I would like it to be, but I don't think I'll ever get around to cleaning it up, so I'll put it up as is.

So here he is, the definitive version of my Vampire Hunter legend, Marcus Mallenheim.

Where to begin. I don't wanna get flamed by somebody because my idea of how a vampires powers works differs from there but.........

Marcus started off as a human, but now is sort of, well half human half vampire.........but not in the traditional sense.

He used his job as a graveyard caretaker/Undertaker as a cover for hunting vampires. At one point it became clear to the vampires that he was very, very dangerous.

So one night as he was inspecting the new corpses for signs of the vampire curse, he was deceived by a vampire pretending to be a dead person. The vampire attacked Marcus, sucked his blood and left him to die. Unfortuantely for him, Marcus was a little too resilient. He hunted the vampire down and slew him just as he was succumbing to death. By that point the powers he would have gained if had been turned were already manifesting. By slaying the vampire, he saved himself from being cursed, but still retained the powers growing inside him. So now he has the super strength, speed, sight, smell etc., but lacks the weaknesses. Plus he's immortal.

And now I know someone somewhere is going to bitch at me for that but i really don't care.
